A Guide for Your Safe Workouts

But a healthy body is not so easy to attain, as it is rightly said “nothing is for free in this world”. The only way to have a fit body is to workout daily in any form, you may go for sports that you like, gym, yoga, jogging or cycling.

Any kind of exercise must be done with great precautions and under proper supervision. You must not stretch the wrong muscle at wrong time. Here are some useful tips you must consider while workouts.

Work in breaks

Exercise or sports that require full sprint basically strains lower body muscles. To avoid injuries it is advisable to relax your legs by slowing down for few minutes and then gaining your speed again and then repeat it several times.

Is your knee straight?

Maximum number of injuries in workouts occurs when players take a turn or lands. To avoid such injuries it is suggested to bend your knees rather than keeping them straight while turning or landing.

Take a sip of water

It is important to keep body hydrated and cool while exercising to avoid heart strokes.
Many experts suggest that the temperature and humidity combined must be less than 160 during workouts.

Get your equipments before it’s too late

Some injuries are caused when players get into ill-fitted equipments while training or workouts. So, it is important that you wear proper equipments that are well-fitted.

Did you ask your trainer?

You must not do anything without proper training in workouts or you will end up in a hospital bed. It is always advised to workout under the guidance of a trainer.

Is your warm-up session complete?

It is very important to warm up your body before actual workout begins. And your warm-up sessions must include all kind of body movements such as forward, sideways, backward and all other motions that you might be doing.

Get yourself filmed

It is good to show your videos of workout and sports you play to your trainer and ask form some critics.

Save your rotator-cuff

A slight injury in rotator cuff can stop your hand movements. So do stretch your arms during your workouts to protect your rotator cuff.

Pool in as early as possible

Try to go for swimming early in the morning since less number of people means less contamination of water. Thus prevent you from unwanted diseases.

Walk off trail
